Memories of Scargill House

With the recent news that Scargill House is to close and the property be sold off, I've been gathering together some of the many photographs that I've taken in and around Scargill House over the years.

Image of the older photographs were taken on film camera which will need to be scanned, but the more recent photographs (since 1999) have been taken on a variety of digital cameras so these are the first to go online.

Click here or navigate to them via the 'Photo Galleries' button on the left hand column, and then you'll see a second menu open up with several types of galleries.  I've played with SimpleViewer (SV:), PhotoFolio (PF:) and a few other gallery packages.  The (TTG:) gallery is the more recent with some photos taken in March 2008 on the Photography break at Scargill House.

I'll get around to scanning some of the old photographs, a lot of which are on monochrome 35mm film.

There is a gallery with some photographs taken on my trip to Lee Abbey in 2007, and my initial thoughts there were 'This is what Scargill House was like ten years ago' with one example of both community and guests being requested to wear badges.  Something that vanished from Scargill House under the more recent administration.
