At this time of year images of Sunsets can be very effective, and taken almost anywhere. This was taken from the top (14th) floor of the Aquatics Centre car park at the University of Manchester as I picked my car up to go home. The original image came from a little Canon Ixus 500 which was set up to spot-meter the sky to the right of the setting sun, and was rested on a wall behind my car. It has been cropped/scaled in Photoshop CS2 (with a little tweaking). There is one snag, in that I have to drive up the M61 with the setting sun low in the sky directly in front of me all the way home :-( |
